The success of the inaugural ‘Beat the Bottle‘ series last year, saw us launch another successful summer series this summer season. To extend our reach, we worked with Sydney Water to give grants to local community clean up groups and help the groups to hold their own Beat the Bottles drum up (pun not intended) local interest in their work.
We provided these groups with new equipment and tools that would make their event’s organisation easier than ever. Our kits allowed these groups to professionally promote their events on social media, local media streams and to begin discussions with business in the area.
We invited all of the groups to an info session night where we explained the goal of Beat the Bottle and how the groups would work with us to achieve it.
The info session also gave the groups an opportunity to seek out and meet other local organisations and create relationships for future collaborations.
Together with beach clean experts we created and designed a range of collateral to be used by clean up groups.
This included shirts, caps, marquees that would make the event stand out in their locations, as well as fact sheets like run sheet templates and event safety guides to make their events run smoother.
